Yea, I think thats what the guy who hit my car said, when he realized he smashed my door totally. Good things out of this, I know my side impact bars works, cause you can see where it stopped the metal from bending more, and he left his information for me to call him since he said he was going to pay for it all, nice guy, most people would just drive off and leave. Bad things, my car is damaged, its in the repair shop, and therefore I'm car-less for a while, not that I care, I probably wasn't going to use my car that much.

So wonderfully cool Shannon, nettech from Busey Evans (its a dorm on campus for you non uiuc people), drove with me to the repair place and gave me a ride back home. It's going to cost the guy about 2000 to repair the damage. I think he probably learnt his lesson?

According to the guy, he was backing out from a parking lot and didn't see my car, and just hit it. Given the impact bars came into play, and the glass got smashed, I'm going to take a wild guess he floored it while reversing out of the parking lot, cause I mean the glass broke! And from what I know from taking the door apart, there is no glass where he hit when the window is all the way up.
